Anthony Ostlund has represented and currently represents a number of clients in Florida and the surrounding southeast region. That representation includes assisting Minnesota companies that own or operate businesses and branches around the country.
Anthony Ostlund received a complete defense verdict for its client who was sued by the EEOC for allegedly violating the Americans with Disabilities Act. After a trial in the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida, the jury found that there was no violation. Anthony Ostlund also resolved an arbitration claim against its client, an individual medical device sales representative located in Miami, by obtaining a favorable walk-away settlement.
Anthony Ostlund successfully dismissed a claim for fraudulent transfer against its client, a Minnesota resident, who was a senior director for a bank located in Minnesota. The bank borrowed money to a local entity for a real estate project in Florida. After the real estate project in Florida failed, our client was sued in Florida for conspiracy to commit a fraudulent transfer, aiding and abetting a fraudulent misrepresentation, civil theft, conversion, and unjust enrichment. Anthony Ostlund obtained a complete dismissal of that claim with prejudice.
